KIMBERLY LONG, Ph.D., Interim President

Dr. Long is an administrator and professor with more than 20 years of experience in higher education. Her leadership portfolio has included academic affairs; accreditation and regulatory compliance; data governance; facilities and real estate; human resources; enterprise-wide information technology; institutional research; legal affairs; marketing; registrar operations; sponsored research; state authorization; student support services; strategic planning; testing services; and Title IX.

She holds a Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and is a ranked full professor in the discipline. She also holds a post-master’s graduate certificate in executive human resource management and consulting, as well as a master’s degree in management. Her academic program oversight has spanned undergraduate and graduate programs in the humanities, natural sciences, social sciences, health sciences, education, business, and medicine.

Dr. Long has demonstrated leadership in accreditation and institutional review as an ALO, peer reviewer, and peer review Chair. She also has expertise in grants management, having led initiatives at three institutions to support faculty in securing research funding.

RONNIE B. MARTIN, DO, Vice President of Academic Affairs

Dr. Martin is a nationally respected leader in osteopathic medical education, a graduate of Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, and a past president of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians (ACOFP). A distinguished fellow of the ACOFP, Dr. Martin has held numerous leadership roles, including serving as dean of three colleges of osteopathic medicine. He was recently honored by the American Osteopathic Association Annual Meeting of the House of Delegates by delivering the prestigious A.T. Still Memorial Lecture. Known for mentoring future physicians and advancing osteopathic care in underserved communities, Dr. Martin brings vision and depth of experience that will further strengthen and elevate KansasCOM.

ERIC GISH, DO, Dean

Eric Gish, DO, is a well-respected leader in the osteopathic profession–both as a physician and as a medical educator. He most recently was part of Campbell University’s leadership team, where he served as Associate Dean for Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. Dr. Gish has an exemplary professional record, poised and thoughtful disposition, and profound commitment to community-based medical education. With his long history as a family medicine physician and expertise in osteopathic manipulative medicine, Dr. Gish will bring a mentorship perspective to his leadership with students and faculty.

Matt Ankenbrandt

MATT ANKENBRANDT, Chief Financial Officer

Matt Ankenbrandt, chief financial officer of KHSU-KansasCOM comes to us from Prairie View, Inc. as an experienced financial leader in both the Healthcare and Higher Education industries. Focus on process improvement and ways to become more efficient emphasis on teamwork and collaboration across the entire organization. Problem solver analyzing the present but always looking ahead to the future. Skilled in Budgeting, Forecasting, Contract Management, Leadership, Operations, Public Speaking, Vendor Management, Problem – Solving and Interpersonal Skills.

Matt holds a master’s degree from Lindenwood University, Belleville, Ill., in Business Administration and bachelor’s degrees in economics and management and communications from Albion (Mich.) College.

Richard Winslow headshot

DR. RICHARD WINSLOW, Associate Dean of Student Affairs and Services

Richard Winslow, Ph.D., associate dean of student affairs and services at Kansas Health Science University, spent the first 16 years of his career at William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri, supervising the student life department in various positions and serving as the vice president for enrollment, financial aid, and student affairs. He spent the last six years as the vice provost of enrollment and student services at the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in Kansas City, Missouri. In February 2020, he published his first book, “Straight Talk for College Parents: An Insider’s Guide to Helping Your Student Survive the First Year of College.”

Dr. Winslow graduated with his B.A. in Psychology from William Jewell College as well as his M.A. in Education Administration and his Ph.D. in Urban Leadership Policy Studies and Education from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

MOLLY FOX, Vice President of Advancement

A Wichita native, Fox spent the past six years as the vice president of marketing and development at Goodwill Industries of Kansas. The prior ten years, she was the director of development for Kidzcope, Newman University, and KPTS Public Television.

In 2019, Fox was named the Outstanding Fundraising Professional by the Association of Fundraising Professionals, an organization with a strong focus on professional development and ethical fundraising. Fox has been a member since 2004 and has served in various positions, including president. She is also a board member of the Wichita State University Alumni Association and was a Wichita Business Journal 40 Under 40 Honoree in 2018.

Fox graduated with her B.A. in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Wichita State University and received her MBA from Newman University.
