What to Expect

KansasCOM uses a three-step application process:

  1. Complete your application with the American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine Application Services (AACOMAS).
  2. If you qualify, complete KansasCOM’s secondary application online. You will be invited to apply upon qualification.
  3. Complete a face-to-face interview.

Admission Requirements

Admission requirements include a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, MCAT completion, and completed prerequisite coursework in biochemistry, chemistry, biology, physics, and English composition or literature. We’re also looking for academic success, research experience, leadership abilities, and exposure to the field of health care. Learn more by clicking the button below.

Start Your Application

All prospective students must first apply with the American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine Application Services (AACOMAS). Prospective students can submit one application that includes general required materials to all their desired programs. AACOMAS then verifies applications for accuracy and sends them with the appropriate materials to their chosen schools.

Application Timeline

KansasCOM applicants are encouraged to begin the application process a year prior to their anticipated matriculation. Students are admitted on a rolling basis. Click on the button below to learn more about the application timeline.

Financial Aid

Financial aid is available to those who qualify. All students are encouraged to apply for financial aid, regardless of their financial status. You can begin the financial aid process by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
