Rural Kansas communities are medically underserved, with residents often traveling two or more hours to receive the care they need. Garden City stands out as a crucial hub of medical services, supporting a broad segment of the population. Through a collaborative effort with the city, our students had the opportunity to witness firsthand the essential care provided by physicians at CommonSpirt- St. Catherine Hospital to their community.
