- Biography
-
I am a Harvard and Michigan trained ophthalmologist specializing in corneal transplantation and cataract and implant surgery. I have 26-years of clinical experience in Wichita at Grene Vision Group, one of the largest integrated eye care groups in the country. I held the position of Medical Director and served on the Board of Directors for over 25 years. During my career, I performed more than 35,000 surgical procedures (corneal transplants, cataract surgeries, complex anterior segment reconstruction).
In 2019, I completed an Executive Masters in Healthcare Leadership at Brown University. Having been a founding Board member of Kansas Health Science Center, I have seen this dream from its inception. In 2021, I was privileged with the opportunity to become Assistant Dean for Clinical Education at The Kansas Health Science Center and Kansas College of Osteopathic Medicine. I will utilize my intimate knowledge of the local medical community to create the best possible clinical rotations for our students. Having the opportunity to train our next generation of physicians will be one of the highlights of my career.
