Dr. Memon holds an MBBS and PhD and is an accomplished medical educator and anatomist with more than 33 years of teaching experience across diverse instructional approaches, including PBL, CBL), TBL), flipped classroom, and traditional didactic teaching. His areas of expertise include gross anatomy, histology, embryology, neuroanatomy, and clinical anatomy.
His laboratory teaching expertise includes cadaveric dissection, VH Dissector, HoloAnatomy, and demonstrations using plastinated specimens, anatomical models, and skeletal materials. Dr. Memon has extensive experience in curriculum development, academic leadership, educational research, and scholarly publication. His research interests focus on cell signaling and innovative methods in anatomy teaching and assessment.
Before joining Kansas University of Health Sciences, Dr. Memon served at Aga Khan University in Karachi, Pakistan; King Saud bin Abdulaziz University of Health Sciences in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; and Saba University School of Medicine in the Caribbean Netherlands. He has received multiple teaching awards and actively serves as a reviewer for international peer-reviewed journals.
