Dr. Krystel Chedid, faculty in the Biomedical Sciences Department, holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the Ohio State University and an MD from the University of Balamand, Lebanon. Dr. Chedid is interested in research methodology and evidence-based medicine. She completed a post-doctoral research fellowship at Kansas University School of Medicine and has participated in multiple research projects in Lebanon, the UAE, and the USA.
Dr. Chedid has experience teaching biochemistry, genetics, microbiology, physiology, pathology, and pharmacology. Her clinical experience as an MD, complemented by her research work in various public health sectors and her educational experience at the Kansas College of Osteopathic Medicine, has deepened her understanding of personalized care and the intersection between medical practice, education, and research.
